Ward Party

Laurie talked me into posting this video from the Ward party earliar this month. We had a professional dance team perform the program. Laurie could not keep her eyes off one of the Hot, Sexy, Talented, Ripped swimmers (third from the left). I was totally embarassed by how she kept throwing herself at this young stud after the show! I believe the video show how manly this guys were....For all your enjoyment,I present Swimming with Animals! ENJOY!

2 years ago today!

2 years ago today, I made the Best decision of my life. I can still remember how I felt, like it was yesterday! I was so nervous and excited the minute I picked Laurie up to Celebrate our Valentines's Day in 2007 (Laurie had to work the rest of the week). We went to one of our favorite resturants and had dinner and then one of my students, Our Waitress (Yes, there were about 6 more trying to get a glimpse of what was happening from behind the kitchen door) brought out a package for Laurie. As Laurie went through its contents of the package, I could tell she was just as excited as I was. This was the moment I have waited for my entire life.....How would the women of my dreams answer my question? I pulled out a beautiful ring and asked "Laurie, Will you marry me?" Please, Please, Please say YES, I thought. Sure enough the hottest women on the planet agreed to marry me. My students erupted into cheers! Thanks, Laurie for agreeing to share the rest of your life with me! I love you more today than you will every know!

Happy Birthday Colten!

Where does all the time go??? I can't believe how quickly our little man is growing up! We are so proud of Colten! He is a wonderful son and a great big brother. He is so proud and protective of his little sister. It so fun to see them play for hours together. Its kinda funny that future boyfriends are going to fear Colten more than me! Happy birthday Colten! Your family loves you very much!

Super Sky

We love ya Sky! If you didn't know, Skyler was able to come back to blackfoot(he is from Florida and is my nephew) to finish his Senior year. It has been AWESOME to have him around again. He has been a wonderful big brother to my kids and they just love him! It has been so fun to bond and get to know him again! It is such and honor to be a part of his life and be able to support him in his dream of being on the Blackfoot High School Varsity Basketball Team. Way to go Sky!!!

Down and Derby!

Colten was able to compete in in his first ever Pinewood Derby race ever! He had a great time. We had worked very hard over the last 2 weeks trying to build a car that would go fast. Dallas Cowboys was the theme (of course!). We even asked Grandpa Jensen and Uncle Phil for advice and boy, did it pay off! Colten went undefeated into the finals but, then lost to another car both times. Once the dust had settled, Colten took 2nd place! I was so happy and also relieved for him! It just makes so excited to see him do so well! I guess there really is something to living life through your children! Colten now gets to go to districts in March! Way to go Colten chose

I must be crazy!

I signed up to run the 2009 Salt Lake Marathon. I know..I know..I must be crazy to try and run 26.2 miles. Last year I competed only in Triathlons and I loved every minute of it. I really want to get better and at these. My end goal is to compete in the Ironman Triathlons. While training for these I have found out that I really enjoy running! Running long distances can be very calming, energizing, and spiritual. There is just something about pushing your body to the physical limit while at the same time having all the time in the world to examine your most personal thoughts and feeling without the interuption of daily life. You really get to find out what your made of and what you can do.

Welcome Home!

I can't not believe how fast the last 18 months have gone. Mon and Dad returned yesterday from Oakland, California. They were officially released yesterday from serving an "Honorable" mission in Oakland, California Mission. I am so proud of my parents! They did such a wonderful job in Oakland, that Dad's nickname was the Defender of the Doctrine! We are so happy to have them home and can't wait for Mikayla to get to know her grandparents! We Love you Grandma and Grandpa!
